Back in 2016, W Magazine had Zendaya, Willow Smith, and Kiernan Shipka record this video tribute to Bowie shortly after his death. It was recently re-shared in honor of his 75th birthday, and the internet dragged it to hell and back.

Many people pointed out that the actors are clearly reading off the lyrics from a printout, so they likely had all of three minutes to prepare for this hastily-clipped tribute. They also seem to have clearly been recorded at different times as there is zero coordination between any of them on how they'll deliver the song (spoken or sung) or in what key.

If anyone who matters is reading this: I think I speak for basically the entire world when I say please, stop doing this s--t.
